Revere 5
Trip 5 of our headwaters to impoundment series with the Little Tennessee River takes us to town!
This stretch is home to two of the river’s indigenous mounds; Noquisi (star place) and Watuaga (many springs) and is approximately 6 miles in length.
On this very easy journey, we’ll share all we know about the cultural and natural history of this part of our gorgeously rich river. “ReVeRe 5” is a perfect way to celebrating the Summer Solstice among the birds and the rich aquatic diversity of our storied river.

Revere 6
Trip 6 of our headwaters to impoundment series carries us along the Little Tennessee River from the cliff swallows of Iotla to the cliff swallows of Rose Creek / Oak Grove. In between, we’ll encounter perhaps the most storied section of all - Cowee town, where roughly 10,000 years of human history has taken place, with evidence of prehistoric life and where biodiversity begins to flourish in the watershed. Approximately 7 miles.
$75 per person
$45 with your own boat & gear + shuttle provided by us
